As we're a month into the new school year, many overzealous students are trying to compete for the most prestigious internships.
This is a compiled archive of all the jobs I could find that suit high school and college students who want to work remotely. Though competitive, high school students are encouraged to apply--and college students can gain academic credit for their efforts. These are all paid opportunities.

The APA is a prominent organization in its field, significantly influencing psychology research and advocacy. I want to feature this particular group because I was introduced to it by my psychology teacher. The professors and psychologists who work on these journals are truly passionate about their field. But you need to impress them to become an intern at their organization. This competitive job offer requires you to be knowledgeable in editing manuscripts, basic office work, and experienced in team projects. This association is based in D.C, and you are required to submit a D.C work permit if you are under the age of 18 to accept their offer.
Featured Internships
APA Books
"APA Books hires interns year-round and typically on the college semester schedule: January-May for the spring semester; June- August for the summer semester; and September-December for the fall semester. APA Books internships are paid and can be completed as a part-time, flexible, 20-hour-a-week arrangement."
APA Communications
"We are currently accepting applications for a 2025 spring internship. The Digital Strategy and Services team under the Communications Department is responsible for bringing APA content to life on apa.org and our social media channels, and for listening to and engaging in public conversations about topics APA cares about. The team serves as APA staff’s point of contact for posting web content, advising on best practices, and ensuring web content is fresh, accurate, and findable. We are seeking undergraduate or graduate students for this internship."
Child Mind's hybrid program is 14 weeks long, and while being paid, you can experience what it is like working with professionals in their field. Their team is determined to bring a smile to everyone's face and ensure our next generation is in safe hands. You can be a part of that team, and both work towards providing accessible resources to kids struggling with mental health.
Paid Internship
"You’ll get the benefit of real-life job experience and a stipend during your second summer. Your internship will allow you to apply the skills developed during the project-based learning and build valuable career connections."
